Monrovia, CA -Aztec Hotel

Designated a National Historic Landmark and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, the Aztec Hotel closed for renovations in 2012 and as of this writing was still closed. Built in 1924 on Route 66 through Monrovia, the hotel is one of the most unique structures on the Mother Road in California.
