Grand Canyon Ranch, AZ - BW

North of Kingman, and just south of the Grand Canyon, the original Diamond Bar Ranch was bought by Old West outlaw Tap Duncan after he hung up the six shooter from riding with the real Hole in the Wall Gang. Tap expanded the ranch to 1.45 million acres and ran thousands of cattle on it.

Eventually the ranch was renamed to the Grand Canyon Ranch Resort. The land the ranch encompasses has a rich history, including the Mormon Trail, the Native American Ghost Dance, and Tap's own brother being hung for murder by the old corral at the entrance. Legendary film star Buster Keaton filmed the classic movie "Go West" here in 1925.
