Needles, California - Sage Motel Sign. Like other places all along Route 66, when the old highway was replaced by its various interstates, in this case, I-40, numerous businesses went under. In Needles, several didn't make it including the old Sage Motel and the Le Brun Motel. Their buildings and signs still stand; however their vintage signs still stand.
