arizona is a very special place and so much history and old towns to explore. we always look forward to a return viisit and hopefully it will be soon.

AZ has been my favorite state since my first visit back in 1980, and my return in 1981/82/83. Since then circumstances have prevented me from returning, but I still keep up with many aspects of the state: i check out the websites featuring ghost towns, the political situation, read Arizona Highways every month, etc. I hail from, and live in, The Netherlands.
As a former Tombstone Marshal's Office deputy (reserve), a Cochise County Sheriff's Office deputy and an explorer of 'off the beaten path' Arizona, sites, I found pictures of many places I've been and enjoyed. Sadly, a lot of sites like Charleston, Cordes, the trading post north of Williams and others, are nearly gone and they will be a great loss.
