Power House and Chimes Tower at Scotty's Castle in Death Valley National Park,California. The Power House reflects Albert Johnson's pre-occupation with new technologies and his desire to make the Ranch as self-sufficient and as comfortable as possible. The Power House was originally designed to house three separate electrical generators; the Gospel Foundation added two new ones that supplanted the original three.
