The Farm House Motel, sat vacant near UC Riverside since 2007. Afterward it was repeatedly vandalized and was severely damaged in a fire in 2017. The property was sold in 2018, with plans to utilize it as retail space. Though the motel is gone, the site operates now as the Farmhouse Collective, a dining and retail space.
