The La Cita Restaurant in Tucumcari, New Mexico opened in 1940. In 1961, the restaurant moved to its current location at 820 S 1st Street and brought along this sombrero-shaped pole sign. The building's sombrero entrance was added later. The pole sign was restored in 2002. The restaurant still serves customers today. Photo by Kathy Weiser-Alexander.
