Cimarron Canyon, NM - Jessie Phillips Grave

Not a lot is known about Jessie, other than she was around 15 when she died while passing through Cimarron Canyon in a wagon train in 1894. Locals and others have continually visited the grave now by the highway. Photo by Kathy Alexander.
