Idlewild, NM - Klondike Mine, 2006

The Klondike Mine and Mill in Idlewild, near Eagle Nest, New Mexico was established in the 1920s. However, it was never very productive and all operations had ceased by 1940. The old mill continued to stand until 2011, when it was razed. Photo by Kathy Weiser-Alexander.
