The 15-room Chief Motel once located at 1150 North Townsend Ave. (US-50) in Montrose, Colorado no longer exists. A Maverick Gas Station is currently operating on the site. Before its demolition in the winter of 2019, the property operated under the name Blue Sky Inn. Photo by John Margolies, 1991.
