Langtry, TX - Judge Roy Bean Jersey Lilly Saloon and Court

Built in 1883, Judge Roy Bean called his saloon and courtroom the "Jersey Lilly," after the well-known British stage actress Lillie Langtry. Her real last name was actually Emilie Le Breton and she was not related to George Langtry for whom the town is named. Photo by Kathy Weiser-Alexander.
