A scene at the Getaway Grille and Cubbie Bar that takes some careful explaining. A “Cubbie bar” is a tavern frequented by ardent fans of the Chicago Cubs major-league baseball teams and, to a slightly lesser degree, other Chicago teams. Hence, the Cub player cut-outs and the replica of the Wrigley Field (Cubs’ home stadium) sign. Of note: this bar is not in Chicago or its suburbs but in Brigman, Michigan, two states and 95 miles from Wrigley Field. Such is the passion of Chicago sports fans.
