An outdoor sculpture wall on the grounds of the Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop and Farm, now a tourist attraction in Olathe, one of the suburban cities surrounding Kansas City, Kansas, which itself is a "sister city" of the larger Kansas City, Missouri. The site's house was once a stagecoach stop on the Oregon and California trails, which originated in nearby Missouri and were packed with westbound settlers in the 1860s and beyond. The farm, settled by James Mahaffie and his wife Lucinda in 1858, is a popular Civil War re-enactment site. Photo by Carol Highsmith, 2021.
