Aberdeen, MD - Old Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Station
The long-closed and abandoned old Baltimore & Ohio Railroad station in Aberdeen, Maryland. The train station was built in 1885, one of many in the eastern United States, and was designed by the renowned 19th-century architect Frank Furness. Restoration efforts are underway while it is in decrepit condition, beginning with installing a completely new foundation. Photo by Carol Highsmith, 2018.
