Gulliver, MI - Seul Choix Point Lighthouse
The 1892 Seul Choix Point Lighthouse on Michigan's Upper Peninsula helps guide boaters through the dangerous Straits of Mackinaw. The name, translated as "Only Choice" in English, refers to a landing in a fierce storm by French sailors when the area was French territory. Photo by Carol Highsmith.
