Manchester, NH - Old Ash Street School

The old Ash Street School building in Manchester, New Hampshire. Now home to the SilverTech digital-marketing firm, the 1874 building is a French style Second Empire three-story brick structure. Its most prominent feature is its clock tower, which rises four stories and looks down upon the building's mansard roof. A model of the building won a gold medal for its innovative design at the Philadelphia Centennial Exposition in 1876. The shape of the building was designed to be that of a Greek cross.
