Grand Forks, ND - Mobilgas Station Replica

Replica of an early Mobilgas station — one of the structures and artifacts presented in a semicircular complex by the Grand Forks Historical Society in Grand Forks, the principal city in northeast North Dakota . The complex includes the Myra Museum, constructed to house the society's headquarters in 1976; the Campbell House, built in 1879, a one-room schoolhouse, the marker from a 19th Century oxcart trail; the original Grand Forks log post office; a 1989 North Dakota Centennial pavilion, a carriage house; and more. The history displayed goes all the way back to the Ice Age in the form of large rocks from that period. Photo by Carol Highsmith, 2021.
