Shelter from Arizona's often-sizzling heat at Flintstones Bedrock City, a small, family-run theme park and tourist attraction that opened in 1972 near the southern entrance to the Grand Canyon natural wonder. The park, modeled after the popular Flintstones cartoon characters in a popular 1960s television series, depicts some of the scenes from the Stone Age family's "town" of Bedrock.
