Across virtually every state in the nation, you will find abandoned buildings that look like they belong in a ghost town, though they are actually in the midst of a small town, sometimes in a thriving city, and very often found along the highway or a lonely road. Oklahoma is no exception. Some folks find these old buildings very sad, others are fascinated by their history, and to the photographer, they almost always evoke a need to stop and snap, what could be, the old place's last "portrait".
