Pink is a small community on Highway 9 east of Norman,
Oklahoma. Located
in Pottawatomie County. The population was 2,058 at the 2010 census. Pink is located in the Cross Timbers, a small and unique ecoregion that stretches in a 40-mile wide strip from Kansas to Texas. The Cross Timbers is one of the least disturbed natural places on Earth, with some of the ancient post oak forest appearing just as it did 6,000 years ago. Photo by
