Catoosa, OK - Verdigris Bridges

Twin bridges over the Verdigris River near Catoosa, Okahoma. In 1957, Route 66 became a four-lane highway and a second bridge, serving eastbound traffic was added across the river. Locals called the mismatched bridges "Felix" and "Oscar." In 2011, the 1936 bridge on the left was in disrepair and removed. A portion of the historic bridge was moved to Molly's Landing restaurant and other large pieces were moved to Rogers Point Park.
