Tahlequah, OK - Old Cherokee National Prison

The old Cherokee National Prison in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, which was the capital of the Cherokee Nation established in the 19th Century after the forcible relocation to what was then “Indian Territory” from their original homelands in eastern U.S. states.
