Multnomah County, OR - Vista House

Vista House, a museum and overlook in Oregon's Multnomah County, near the town of Corbett, 733 feet above the Columbia River Gorge with a commanding view of the river and the opposite Washington State shoreline. The locale also serves as a memorial to Oregon pioneers and as a comfort station for travelers on the Historic Columbia River Highway. The hexagonal stone building was designed by Edgar M. Lazarus in the art nouveau style, and completed in 1918.
