A portion of the largest pueblo at the Wupatki National Monument, a National Park Service-protected settlement of structures built by ancient Puebloan people beginning about 500 A.D., northeast of what is now Flagstaff in Coconino County, Arizona. Wupatki (or "Tall House" in the Hopi language) was a multistory Sinagua pueblo dwelling that once comprised more than 100 rooms and a community room and ball court, making it the largest building for nearly 50 miles.
