Built in 1885 by banker Thomas Kirby, this house is on the original site where Cattle Baron Joseph McCoy built his home. Kirby moved the McCoy house two blocks over and had it remodeled, then built this Italianate frame house for his family. A fire in February 2013 destroyed the home, which was on the National Register of Historic Places.
