The Darie King in Hutchison, Kansas, was located at 1524 E 4th Ave. After having been closed for at least a decade, the building sold in 2017. After an extensive remodel of the 65-year-old concrete block building, it reopened a year later and was re-christened as DK CarryOut. A few years later, the business changed hands and the name changed to Malty Mikes. It too, is closed as of this writing (May 2023). Photo by John Margolies, 1979.
