An 1881 sandstone bank building, now (as of 2021) an ice-cream parlor, in the small town of Custer in southwest South Dakota. The community is a summertime destination for tourists visiting nearby Custer State Park and the Crazy Horse Memorial, a gigantic granite mountain memorial to the 19th-Century Oglala chief.
