The College of the Sisters of Bethany is a defunct school in Topeka, Kansas. The Kansas Territory chartered it on February 2, 1861, and was initially named Episcopal Female Seminary of Topeka, but changed its name on July 9, 1872. Classes began with 35 students and two teachers on June 11, 1861. The school operated under the Episcopal Diocese of Kansas church until it closed in 1928. Image by L.H. Everts & Co., 1887.
