The Riviera Motor Lodge's sign was commissioned in 1952 by motel owners Mr. and Mrs. Walczak and Mr. and Mrs. Pearson. Supported by a massive steel post, it originally rose from a brick plinth in a small reflecting pool. It was later moved closer to the buildings. Image by Jeroen and Maggie Boersma
