Mesilla, NM - La Posta de Mesilla

La Posta de Mesilla Restaurant, Cantina and Chile Shop used to be the historic Corn Exchange Hotel, and has been a dining establishment since 1939. Over the years this building sheltered such famous characters as Kit Carson, Billy the Kid, Pancho Villa, and was a "lay over" place for those getting off the Overland Stage a block away at what is now the El Patio Restaurant.
