A huge kachina doll figure with a name — Myrtle — at the National Route 66 Museum in Elk City, Oklahoma, along the historic “Mother Road” that ran (and still does in limited stretchs) from Chicago, Illinois, to Santa Monica, California. This is three museums in one: a historic Old Town of vintage buildings, a farm and ranch life section, and a transportation exhibit.
