The Buckaroo Motel in Tucumcari, New Mexico is a vintage original Route 66 Motel. The motel opened in 1952. This sign is not the original but it appears to be from the 1950s or 1960s. Its vintage neon sign has been fully restored and continues to welcome travelers today at 1315 Rt. 66. Photo by Kathy Weiser-Alexander.
