Yorktown, VA - American Revolution Museum Cannons

Costumed interpreter Andrew Rahafires a musket at the American Revolution Museum in Yorktown, Virginia. The living-history museum tells the story of the United States’ founding, from the twilight of the colonial period to the dawn of the new republic and beyond. It includes the story of the Siege of Yorktown, a battle ultimately lost by the British, that prompted Britain’s government to negotiate an end to the long revolutionary conflict.
