A canopied bed and gown reproduction in a bedroom at the Governors’ Palace at Colonial Williamsburg in Williamsburg, Virginia. It was the bedroom of one of the daughters of John Murray, 4th Earl of Dunmore, one of Virginia’s royal governors. The building was the official residence of seven of them and two post-colonial governors: Patrick Henry and Thomas Jefferson. Colonial Williamsburg is the world's largest living-history museum, boasting more than 600 buildings.
