Hollenberg Station located near Hanover, Kansas is a seven-acre state park and national historic landmark that boasts the only Pony Express station in Kansas remaining in its original location. It was initially built in 1857 as a waystation to serve emigrant traffic on the Oregon and California trails. The site also offers a picnic area, nature trail, museum, historical markers and monuments.
