The Washington State Capitol Building, constructed between 1922 and 1928 in Olympia. Sometimes called the Legislative Building, the capitol is the dominant feature of the capitol grounds, with its dome 287 feet high, making it the tallest self-supporting masonry dome in the United States, and fifth-tallest in the world.
