The abandoned Northern Pacific Railroad depot, which was built in 1929 in Cheney, Washington. The company's successor railroad, the Burlington Santa Fe Northern, announced plans to demolish the building in 2013, but it was still standing as of this photograph five years later. The Cheney Depot is distinguished by its Spanish eclectic design featuring a stucco exterior, red tile roof, and arcaded outdoor waiting area, which is more common in the Southwest of the United States.
