The old Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Station in Grafton, West Virginia, built in 1911, a year before 30 passenger trains a day passed through this B&O junction town. But by the 1960s, passenger traffic had dwindled to a trickle, and the station (and the big Willard Hotel that once accommodated travelers and senior railroad executives next door) ceased operations. The closed station is now the Grafton B&O Railroading Heritage Center. Photo by Carol Highsmith, 2015.
