I work as a truck driver.
I have driven past Twin Arrows in the past. The gas station was closed and torn down many years ago, but the arrows are still there.
I live in Fontana now south of Foothill 66. I drive 66 every single day at work. The rundown gas station on 66 was purchased by a private party and is being restored to its former glory including classic pumps. The owner has said he wants to begin having a 66 car cruise.
The Sycamore Inn hosts a car show and cruise in the early summer now.
Bonos in Fontana has been jacked up to replace its foundation and is currently being restored as well including the orange. The extended family still owns it and has promised to reopen the cafe and have a 66 museum as well.
