16th Street in Denver, Colorado, 1875. This was one of the early roads through what would become the center of downtown Denver. Today, many historic buildings remains as part of the 16th Street Mall, a 1.25 mile long promenade that is lined with outdoor cafes, renovated historic office buildings, sparkling glass-walled skyscrapers, shops, restaurants and retail stores.
