Lawrence Geissler built this more than century old building as a general store to serve the needs of Atlantic City, Wyoming miners and ranchers. Along with the Geissler store, he also had a ranch on Willow Creek, from which he ran cattle and horses in the Red Desert. After Geissler’s death his wife Emma ran a boarding establishment and cafe in the old store building.
