Shoshone Falls, a beautiful waterfall outside Twin Falls, the seat of a southern Idahocounty of the same two-word name. This photo was taken in mostly dry late fall, when the cascade is relatively modest. This is not one of the "twin falls" for which the city and county are named. The one survivor of those falls is even more modest, and the other was subsumed into a giant hydoelectic project and no longer exists. Photo by Carol Highsmith, 2022.
