The Parkette, a nostalgic, 1950s-era drive-in restaurant in Lexington, Kentucky. Opened in 1951 and extensively renovated in 2008, the diner features all the classic elements of its genre, including its drive-in carports, order-placing call boxes, large neon sign, and curbside delivery staff called “carhops.” This stand-alone outlet’s homestyle food offerings include its specialty: the Hot Brown Burger.
