Florida’s Historic Capitol in Tallahassee, the capital city of Florida, located in the “Panhandle” portion of the state above the Gulf of Mexico. Constructed in 1845, the building is now a museum. Behind it can be seen a hint of the state’s new, and drastically different, capitol, which is a high-rise building. Photo by Carol Highsmith, 2020.
