A Wild West poker game imagined at Fox Cave (once said to be a hideout for the famous outlaw “Billy the Kid” Bonney) in Ruidoso, New Mexico. The very real, and deep, cave had long been a cooling refuge for residents and visitors high above the often baking-hot southeast New Mexico desert. It became a quirky roadside tourist attraction in the 1950s. Its thematic rooms (Old West, space alien invaders, etc.) and outdoor displays have been a fun escape from reality, too.
