The North Dakota Medal of Honor Memorial outside Roosevelt Park in Minot (pronounced MINE-ott), the principal city in north-central North Dakota. The 2007 structure features three 40-foot concrete pillars surrounded by 10-foot pillars, including one for each of what were then 18 living Congressional Medal of Honor recipients with North Dakota ties.
