The Modern Diner in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. One of two known surviving Sterling Streamliner locomotive-style diners still in operation as of 2018 (the other is in Salem, Massachusetts), the diner was manufactured in 1940 by the John B. Judkins Company of Merrimac, Massachusetts, and originally placed elsewhere in Pawtucket. It operated at that site until 1984, when it was moved to its present location to avoid demolition.
