Sancturay of the Loretto Chapel, a former Catholic church that is now (as of 2021) a museum and wedding chapel in Santa Fe, the capital city of the southwest U.S. state of New Mexico. Founded between 1607 and 1610 in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, it is the nation’s second-oldest city (behind Saint Augustine, Florida) and — at 7,000 feet — highest state capital.
