The old C.A. Braswell Smith & Grocery Store in Caledonia, Missouri.
was built in 1909 at the northeast corner of Main and Henry Streets. The blacksmith shop that once sat behind this building is gone today. Over the years, the building also served as Turner's Grocery Store, a pool hall, and J&L Western Wear. The building, listed on the National Regester of Historic Places, is owned by the Civey family and is vacant today. Photo by Kathy Weiser-Alexander.
