The Sun Valley Motel in El Paso, Texas, still exists at 7224 TX-20. This was one of dozens of motels built along the highways leading into town in the 1940s and 50s. Though the motel still operates, it this iconic sign no longer stands. Photo by John Margolies, 2003.
